Breeze wood Vegetables Soup  Recipe
(SERVES 4 TO 6)

Ingredients:

1/4 lb/ 125 g
1/2 cup/ 125 mL
1/2 cup/ 125 mL
1/4 cup/ 50 mL

4 cups/ 1 L
1 cup/ 250 mL

 
butter
small onion, chopped
large carrot, pared and diced
cabbage, washed and sliced
fresh green beans, pared and cut in three
frozen corn kernels
cooked black beans
frozen peas
slices corned beef, diced
beef stock, heated
tomato juice
few drops Worcestershire
sauce
salt and pepper
 

Method:

  1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and carrot; cover and cook 6 minutes over low heat.

  2. Add cabbage, mix and continue cooking 3 minutes.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bring to boil, then cook 10 minutes over medium heat.

  4. Serve with garlic bread.
