Shrimp Canapés Recipe
(serves 10)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs/ 750 g
3 tbsp/ 45 ml
2
1 tbsp/ 15 ml
1/4 lb/ 125 g
3 tbsp/ 45 ml
 

 

cooked shrimp, shelled, deveined & chopped
chopped pimento
garlic cloves, blanched & pureed
celery seeds
soft butter
mayonnaise
few drops Worcestershire sauce
few drops lemon juice
pinch cayenne pepper
salt and pepper

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in food processor and blend 1 minutes.

  2. Transfer mixture to clean bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

  3. Serve with toasted bread.
