Hot Toddy Recipe
(serves: 2)

Ingredients:

90 ml
2 tsp
2 tsp
2


600 ml

 

 

brandy, whisky or rum
dark brown sugar
runny honey
cinnamon sticks, each measuring about 7.5 cm
A strip of thinly pared rind & strained juice of 1 lemon or orange
boiling water

Hot toddy

Method:

  1. Pour the spirit into two heatproof glasses. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 cinnamon stick to each glass.

  2. Cut the lemon rind in half and add a piece to each glass. Divide the juice between the glasses and top up with boiling water. Stir and serve immediately.
