Dill Tisane Recipe

To serve: |
fresh chopped dill
green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
fresh chopped mint
thin slice fresh ginger
boiling water
thin slices of lemon |

Method:

Warm the teapot by
pouring in a little very hot water, then leave
for a minute or two and discard the water.

Put the herbs and
spices into the pot and pour on the boiling
water. Leave to infuse for about 5 minutes.

Strain into cups
and serve with a thin slice of lemon in each.
Variation:
-
For a fruitier
drink, add some grated zest of an unwaxed
orange. To give a delicate hint, use 1/4 tsp, or
1/2 tsp for a stronger taste.
