Stir-fried Chicken with Bean Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4 cup/ 60 ml
1/4 lb/ 110 g
1 lb/ 450 g
2 tsp/ 10 ml
2 tsp/ 10 ml
1/4 tsp/ 1 ml
1 tbsp/ 15 ml
 



vegetable stock
fresh chicken breast, skinned and shredded
bean sprouts, roots removed
cornstarch
dry sherry
sugar
salt-reduced soy sauce

 

Method:

  1. Heat stock in a non-stick pan. Add chicken strips and stir-fry 3 minutes. Add bean sprouts. Cook covered 2 minutes. Blend cornstarch, sherry, sugar and soy sauce. Stir in to thicken. Serve at once.

  2. Serve garnished with green onion shreds.
