fresh scallops or thick white fish fillets
hoisin sauce
large onion, cut in 3/4 inch/ 2 cm cubes
small satay sticks, soaked in cold water
orange juice
salt-reduced soy sauce
Method:
Combined scallops
with hoisin sauce. Tread onto skewers with diced
onion. place on sheet of foil and brush with a
mixture of orange juice and soy sauce.
Broil under medium
heat 2-4 minutes, until scallops are white.
Brush with orange juice and soy sauce during
cooking. The remaining juice can be thickened
and served as a sauce.
