Fish Cocktails with Honey Orange Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb/ 450 g
3 tbsp/ 45 ml
3 tbsp/ 45 ml
1/4 cup/ 60 ml
1 slice



firm white fish fillets, cut in 1 1/4 inch/ 3 cm cubes
salt-reduced soy sauce
honey
fresh orange juice, strained
fresh ginger, shredded
cornstarch ( optional)

 

Method:

  1. Combine fish pieces, soy sauce, honey and orange juice. Marinate for 15 minutes.

  2. Place fish and marinade in a shallow heatproof dish. Sprinkle with ginger. Cover with a lid or foil. Steam over boiling water 12 minutes.

  3. Drain off liquid and reheat it in a saucepan. Reduce by half or thicken with cornstarch. Serve over fish pieces
