Mongolian Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

5 tbsp/ 75 ml
1 cup/ 250 ml
2 1/2 cups/ 625 ml
1/2 cup/ 125 ml
1/2 cup/ 125 ml
1/4 cup/ 60 ml
 



brown rice
water
milk or soy milk
sugar
walnuts, coarsely chopped
raisins
cinnamon or nutmeg

 

Method:

  1. Put rice and water in a saucepan. cook until water has been absorbed. Add milk and sugar and cook over low heat until mixture thickens. Add walnuts and raisins.

  2. Serve hot, sprinkled with cinnamon.
